What's New for 2008 – 2009?
Mont Blanc is pleased to announce the following improvements and additions for this winter season:
Snowmaking
To give us a jump start on opening day:
- 95 new snow guns have been installed top to bottom on the trails: Slalom Géant, Dufour, Mambo, Loup/Renard and Lynx
- More snowmaking lines - both air and water - have been added on the mountain
- 2 new air compressors (1500 cfm) have been added to our inventory to allow us to operate more guns at the same time
Snowshoeing Expedition
Follow your guide on a vigorous climb up a new snowshoe trail to a stunning mountain-top view and a quaint log cabin, where a glass of Caribou will warm you from head to toe. But your evening does not stop here. Your moonlight trek will continue and finish with a traditional cheese fondue. Mont Blanc's snowshoeing excursions are a must, one-of-a-kind Laurentian experience. Perfect for couples, family or friends, young and old alike.
